Marci Griffith Loeber

Managing Principal & Chief Investment Officer

As Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Griffith Properties, Marci oversees all of the firm’s activities including fundraising, investments and executing the strategies for Griffith Properties Funds.  She brings 32 years of experience in principal investing, disposition, valuation and brokerage involving over 525 transactions representing $26 billion of assets. Since 2010, Marci has been operating Griffith Properties as a Women-owned enterprise.

From 1993 to 2009 Marci was an investment sales broker most recently with Cushman & Wakefield and formerly with Fallon Hines & O’Connor/Trammell Crow Company.  In the course of her 18-year Brokerage career Marci closed over 500 investment sales transactions totaling in excess of $25.0 billion and was named by Real Estate Forum as one of the country’s “Superstar” investment sales brokers in three consecutive years.  While a Principal at TCC, Marci was ranked among the Top 3 Producers nationwide from 1998 through 2000.  She was member of the team recognized by the GBREB’s Commercial Leasing and Investment Committee for closing “The Investment Sales Deal of the Year” multiple times: 1994 (for the $64.6 million Latham Farms Power Center sale in Albany, NY); 1995 (for the $163 million sale of Bay Colony Corporate Center in Waltham, MA); 1996 (for the $91 million Druker 1031 Exchange in Boston); 1999 (for the $403 million MGI New England Portfolios) and 2006 (for the $600 million Technology Square transaction).

Community Service and Professional Affiliations include: Member, Urban Land Institute (ULI); Member and Past President, Real Estate Finance Association (REFA); Member and Past President, NAIOP of MA; Committee Member, Champions for Children’s, Children’s Hospital Boston; Member, Real Estate Committee for Archdiocese of Boston; Board of Trustees, Noble and Greenough School.

In 2000, Marci—along with her father and sister—received the Robert Swain Award for her contribution and achievements in the real estate industry.

Marci is a 1989 graduate of Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and a minor in Mathematics. She lives in Weston with her husband, Franz, and her three children.

 

JOHN A. MANNIX

Principal, Acquisitions

36 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry including 34 years in principal / institutional investing.

From 1987 to 1989 John was a commercial office broker with Leggat McCall / Grubb & Ellis.  Over the next 23 years, John was a member of the senior management team and in leadership roles with The RMR Group which invests in and manages both publicly owned and privately held real estate.  John served from 1999 to 2011 as Executive Vice President, then President & Chief Investment Officer of it’s first publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust which owned a nationwide portfolio of office property valued at $7.2 billion.  John then relocated to Sydney Australia to establish their office portfolio in Australia in a two-year assignment.  Prior to RMR, John’s broad experience has included public accounting and finance, where his focus was audit and corporate tax services for private clients.

John is currently a member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP) and the Boston College Real Estate Council.

He is currently on the board of Trustees of Nativity Prep School and Mt. Alvernia Academy. John is a past Member of the Board of Trustees of St. Sebastian’s School where he served on both the Long Range Planning Committee and Facilities Committee and past member of the Board of Trustees of the St. Columbkille Partnership School, established with Boston College in 2006 as a new governance model for catholic education in the United States.

Bradford Takala

Principal, Acquisitions

26 years of experience in real estate investments during which Brad has originated, structured and closed over $3.0 billion of investments across all asset classes and strategies. Brad works with Griffith Properties’ two other investment principals originating and executing on opportunities in our target markets, and assists our Managing Principal in investor relations and capital formation.

Most recently, Brad led acquisitions at Eastern Real Estate, a vertically-integrated development and investment platform. Prior to Eastern, he was Managing Director and head of acquisitions at The Davis Companies, a value-add fund manager and development company based in Boston which invests across the Eastern US. Brad also spent nine years at Invesco Real Estate where he was responsible for originating investment opportunities in the DC to Boston corridor in addition to the Chicago metropolitan area.

He began his career in commercial real estate at Cushman & Wakefield in San Francisco. Brad received an MBA in finance from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in government from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. Brad and his wife, Lisa, live in Boston, Massachusetts and have three daughters. Brad is a “Coach’ with the Honor Foundation, a unique transition institute created exclusively for Navy SEALs and the U.S Special Operations community as they prepare to leave the service. Every step is dedicated to preparing these outstanding men and women to continue to realize their maximum potential during and after their service career.

 

Matthew H.  DalY

Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for managing the firm’s operations, asset management, and portfolio management.

At Griffith Properties since 2006, Matt has been involved in the acquisition and management of over 6.9 million square feet with a total capitalization of over $1.30 billion.

Prior to joining Griffith Properties, Mr. Daly was a Financial Analyst at Resolve Technology, where he was a member of the commercial real estate group.  Mr. Daly provided consulting services in asset management, acquisitions, and investment sales.

AnDrew J. Hyland

Director, Marketing and Investor Relations

Andy joined Griffith Properties in 2021. His responsibilities for the firm involve oversight of new product development, distribution, relationship management and investor relations.

Prior to joining Griffith Properties, Andy spent 28 years in the financial services industry, most recently as a vice president and head of institutional corporate bond trading at Fidelity Capital Markets, the brokerage division of Fidelity Investments. In that position, Andy managed all day-to-day activities of principal trading in high yield, high grade, distressed, convertible and emerging market fixed income securities. Andy also spent time at UBS Financial Services, where he was a director in the alternative investments group. His responsibilities involved regional oversight of distribution in the stable of alternative investment products offered by the UBS U.S. Wealth Management Group – which included all hedge fund, fund of fund, private equity, real estate and managed futures strategies.

 Andy is a 1993 graduate of Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He also holds a MBA in Global Management from the F.W. Olin School of Management at Babson College. He lives in Wellesley, MA with his wife, Kimberly, and their two daughters, Courtney and Taylor.

Nora P. Kelly

Senior Associate

Nora joined Griffith Properties in 2021 and is responsible for the firm’s construction and management initiatives.

Prior to joining Griffith Properties, Nora was a Project Manager at Consigli Construction overseeing projects in Healthcare & Life Science markets.

Nora was the recipient of the 2019 Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts’ Building Women in Construction Inspire Awards, and is an active member of the Women’s Environment for Living Well (WELL), a female mentoring group focused on training and guiding women in the construction industry. She is also actively involved with Drive Fore A Cure, her family’s charitable organization supporting cancer departments of Boston hospitals.

Jack A. Gould

Associate

Jack joined Griffith Properties in 2022. His responsibilities include underwriting new acquisition targets, assisting in asset management, conducting market research and performing due diligence on prospective properties.

Prior to joining Griffith Properties, Jack was an accountant at Advent International in Boston. While there, he was responsible for reporting on Advent’s private equity funds.
